- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and UX designers, to understand project requirements and translate them into visually stunning and user-friendly interface designs.
- Develop reusable UI components, adapt UI components and plugins available in the market and make them usable for developers in their development process.
- Define and lead the UI design architecture, setting design guidelines and best practices for consistency and efficiency across all platforms.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
- Develop and maintain design systems that encompass colour palettes, typography, iconography, and UI components.
- Stay current with industry trends, UI/UX best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in UI design.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and refine designs based on user needs.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs and maintain design integrity during development.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and collaborate with them to achieve design excellence.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a User Interface Developer/Designer, UI Architect, or similar role in web app development.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar is desirable.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of UI design projects with an emphasis on web and mobile applications.
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems. • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
